A TRIATHLETES INTRO TO CYCLING

Cycling is the most technical of all 3 triathlon disciplines.  It also comprises the largest portion of a race.  Learning to know your bike can make or break an athlete’s event.

Bike 101  is an introduction to your bicycle.  First participants will learn how to accurately identify the parts that make up a bike.  Maintenance issues can be handled in an easier fashion once you know what you’ve got.  Efficient pedaling skills will be discussed as well along with drills to help build a solid training foundation.   This 11/2 hour clinic is ideal for the beginner to intermediate triathlete or the recreational cyclist looking to know their bike more thoroughly.

Learn...

…to properly identify the parts of a bicycle.

…to inspect your bike pre-race to be sure there are no maintenance issues.

            …to repair a flat tire.

…the aspects of efficient pedaling mechanics.
