01 Triathlon Swimming: Foundation & Form  $45

How would you like to swim faster and farther with less effort?  How would you like to feel fresh going into T1?  How would you like to learn solid foundation and form for freestyle swimming? 

Freestyle Foundation & Form will equip attendees with the skills necessary to become efficient swimmers.  Participants will learn skill specific drills that build on a solid foundation.   This 2 hour clinic is ideal for the beginner to intermediate triathlete looking to improve or a fitness enthusiast looking to learn.  No experience is necessary to attend our program.

                …to properly breathe through whole body rotation.

                …to glide through the water using efficient and rhythmic stroke mechanics

                …what makes triathlon freestyle unique.

Underwater video analysis is the only way to achieve a subjective view of your swim form.  Individual video sessions will be filmed at 5pm.  Immediately following the clinic each video will be reviewed and followed by a discussion on how to apply clinic lessons to address specific swim inefficiencies.  There is an additional fee of $50 for this service.

02  Open Water Swim Clinics  $45

Open water swimming presents unique challenges that are not characteristic of a pool swim. To be confident during an open water swim, a triathlete must be able to trust their skills and have the necessary experience.

The clinics will: 

...address the unique challenges of open water swimming.

…provide  experience in open water.

…teach  the skills necessary for efficient open water swimming, including: starts, sighting, turning buoys & drafting

…provide a supportive environment where athletes can nurture trust in their abilities.

03   Intro to the Rhythm of Running  $45

This is a 2  hour clinic designed to take the mystery out of a seemingly complex, coordinated physical process and provide an easily understandable foundation for running success.  Novice to intermediate triathletes and competitive or recreational runners will benefit from the information provided.  Taking time out to STOP, THINK and most of all ENJOY a running regimen will elevate your running to the next level.  The training journey can be as rewarding as the finish line goal.  We look forward to helping you along the way.  Heart rate monitors are strongly suggested but not required.

04 Bike 101 - A Triathlete's Introduction to Cycling  $45

Cycling is the most technical of all 3 triathlon disciplines.  It also comprises the largest portion of a race.  Learning to know your bike can make or break an athlete’s event. 

 Bike 101  is an introduction to your bicycle.  First participants will learn how to accurately identify the parts that make up a bike.  Maintenance issues can be handled in an easier fashion once you know what you’ve got.  Efficient pedaling skills will be discussed as well along with drills to help build a solid training foundation.   This 11/2 hour clinic is ideal for the beginner to intermediate triathlete or the recreational cyclist looking to know their bike more thoroughly.

            …to inspect your bike pre-race to be sure there are no maintenance issues.

            …to repair a flat tire.

            …the aspects of efficient pedaling mechanics.

05 Training for Triathlon   Free
